Mr. Darry Andrew Allen

Darry Andrew Allen was born on December 27, 1952, to the late James Allen Sr. and the late Mary Quick Allen in Wilson County, North Carolina. On May 16, 2022, he was called home to a richer and fuller life reunited with his parents and siblings.

Darry was affectionately known as BaeBae. Darry was educated in Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools system. He worked for Long Meadow/favorRich Dairy for many years. He had a passion for working on cars and cooking. He loved fishing and having big family barbecuing gatherings. He was known for his creative dance moves. His kind spirit always caused his family to embrace him. He was a special jewel to the family. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. During his illness he was confined to Alpine Health and rehabilitation of Asheboro.

He leaves to cherish his memories five siblings; Shirley Allen Sharpe, Michael Allen, Mary Allen-Farrington and Linda Joyce Allen of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and James Allen (Terri) of Durham, North Carolina. His uncle George Quick, of Durham and aunt Margaret Cody and a great aunt Christine Hartfield, Richmond, Virginia. He had a host of nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Siblings that preceded him in death his brother Larry Allen, Sr. and his sister Shelia Gale Allen-McMillian and Patricia Ann Allen.
