Mr. Larry Reed Foushee

Larry Reed Foushee transitioned from earth to glory on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in his home in Snow Camp, NC. He was born on May 3, 1946 to the late Charlie and Daphna Reed Foushee at Lincoln Hospital in Durham, NC.

Larry attended Northside Elementary (Chapel Hill) and graduated from Lincoln High School (Chapel Hill). He served in the United States Army 25th Infantry Division, two tours to Vietnam, a recipient of the Purple Heart and was honorably discharged. Larry was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Burlington, NC.

Larry was united in holy matrimony to Siti Sherrill and he had 2 stepdaughters, Nadira Williams Sherrill and Sadasia Brookins and also his daughter Michelle Baldwin. Grandsons Courtland and Rashawn Baldwin of Chapel Hill, NC, and his son Lareid (Devona) Pierce, grandson Lysias and granddaughter LaNiya of Mebane, NC.

Larry was preceded in death by his sisters Sarah Mae Foushee, Janie Lee Foushee, and Frankie Stewart Andrews. He Leaves to cherish his memory to Braxton (Barbara) Foushee, James (Doretha) Foushee, Charlie (Gwen) Foushee, Carl (Cecil) Stewart and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family friends whom will miss him dearly.
