Mrs. Rochella Vivian (White) Rice

Mrs. Rochella White Rice was born on August 24,
1940 in Anderson, S.C. to the late Johnnie and Mamie White. She quietly departed this life on Thursday, April 21, 2022 in her home. She was married to the late Carl Rice. He preceded her in death in 2004.

She joined Evergreen Baptist Church in Anderson,
S.C. at an early age. After relocating to Chapel Hill, N.C., she became a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, N.C.

She was the mother of the late Debbie White Reed
and J. Duran Reed. Also preceding her in death were two grandsons Septian West and Duran Morgan; three brothers Broadus White, Leslie White and John Edgar White; one sister Gwendolyn F. White Turner.

Mrs. Rochella Rice leaves to mourn one daughter, Patricia Powell (Albert Powell); two sisters Brenda Thompson and Eaner Weaks, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
