Sabriner Ray Cotton was born on July 11, 1961 in Bamberg, South Carolina to the union of Tom Ray III and Della Jefferson Ray. Sabriner was educated in the Columbus Public school system. After graduating from Eastmoor High school, Sabriner served in the Army as a military leader of other enlisted women. Subsequently, she graduated from Columbus State Community College and Capital University. Sabriner was a faithful member of Abundant Hope Christian Church and Grace Church of Chapel Hill where she faithfully and fervently served in many ministries.
On September 19, 1996, Sabriner was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Clifton L. Cotton. As a beautiful and loving wife, she cared for her husband and family. Sabriner was faithful to the Lord in everything she said and accomplished as her vibrant personality and laughter was comforting and contagious to others. She loved to express herself in reciting scriptures, praying to God, talking to others and playing piano as ‘The Solid Rock’ was one of her favorite hymns.
Blessed with many wonderful years of an adventurous life, Sabriner went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 20, 2021.
She is survived by her loving husband, Clifton L. Cotton; sisters, Cynthia M. and Michelle E. Ray.
