Ms. Adelaide Alston Obituary

Ms. Adelaide Ann Alston was born on September 15, 1953, to the late Adam and Fannie Alston of Chatham County North Carolina. She went to the LORD on 25 October 2022 at the age of 69.

A native of Orange County, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters, Autry Alston, Kenneth Alston, Thomas Alston, Jeffrey Alston, Bryon Alston, Blondaire A. Cameron, Evelyn A Ahmad, Elaine A Hollingsworth, and Carolyn A. Chikobi.

She was a dedicated church goer, devoted family member and die-hard UNC Tarheel Fan. She enjoyed traveling, shopping for discounts and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her son Kwame A. Alston, Chapel Hill, NC, and God son Gamarkus Williams, Burlington, NC. Two aunts Clara Alston and Ruth Alston both of Graham, NC, 14 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews, 35 great-great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great-great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
