Ms. Dionna Rachel Stewart

Dionna Rachel Stewart, was born September 19, 1986 in Baltimore, MD to Elinor Ellis (Satchell) and Robin Stewart. Dionna departed from her physical form suddenly on August 17, 2021 at the age of 34.

Dionna received her primary and secondary education from Baltimore City Public Schools. After graduating from Frederick Douglass High School in 2004, Dionna packed up and moved to North Carolina with her dear Aunt Barbara. Dionna accomplished many things while here, including receiving her Associates of Art degree in 2012 and her Bachelor’s degree in 2014. Dionna’s biggest accomplishment was giving birth to her daughter G’anhi Da’Mica Weaver. G’anhi is Dionna’s pride and joy. Dionna enjoyed spending time with G’anhi and braiding her hair.

Dionna enjoyed writing (especially plays), reading, playing pool, jigsaw puzzles, board games, meeting new people, and going to the Flea Market. Dionna was always known to spark a conversation where ever she was with anyone.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother Elinor, her father Robin, her daughter G’anhi, her sister TyMica, her brother Robert, her nephew Rashawn, her niece Chnye, her Goddaughter Gynia, her boyfriend Chris, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, many friends, and acquaintances.
