Ms. Dorothy Jean (Snipes) Jones

Ms. Dorothy Jones,67 (Bouncy) peacefully passed away on September 14, 2023, at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC.

She was born and educated in Chatham County, NC to Frances Green and John B Baldwin on February 24, 1956. She was married to Louis Jones.

Bouncy was a caring mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and loved to talk her junk. The first thing you noticed when you saw her was those dimples and that beautiful smile. She loved her family. She enjoyed fishing and playing the lottery (was very lucky). Those who loved her was blessed to have her in their life. She was a great provider to her family. She will be greatly missed, and her memory will always be treasured.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Frances Green, two daughters, Angie Jones (Michael Battle), Lisa Snipes (Shuleta Rogers), three grandchildren, Raquan Riley, Shaquan Jones, and Joey Wells, jr., five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a sister, Joyce Baldwin, and a brother, Howard Snipes, several nieces, and a nephew, and a host of cousins and friends.
