Tiffany Riketa Merritt was born November 28, 1979. On December 19, 2021 the Lord called her home. She was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to Regina Gail Merritt and Vincent Ricardo Graves, which he preceded her in death.
Tiffany attended Carolina Friends School, and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, where she graduated from Chapel Hill Senior High School. She was one of a kind. She was a loving mother, a wonderful daughter and an awesome sister. She had a beautiful heart with a great passion for giving. She gave unbegrudgingly and from the heart. That’s why she was blessed so dearly. It’s easy to imagine why God would want her to come home.
Tiffany was in awe of God’s beautiful creation throughout the world as she traveled to many countries. She developed an appreciation for a wealth of opportunities that she experienced throughout her life. She danced, she laughed, she shopped, she traveled, she ate, and she had fun. Just cruising through life like a beautiful little butterfly until…she got the news of a terrible disease called cancer. Despite what she was dealing with, she made life as normal and positive as possible. She was determined to have as much normalcy for her two beautiful children. Some days taking he children to school, helping them get dressed and preparing their lunch was a task, however, she pushed through without complaints.
Tiffany loved her mother and siblings, but the apple of her eye was Lilly and Carter. She would cross the hottest desert for them. Before she started to get weak, she promised them that she would take them on an airplane. Her goal was to take a trip to Disney World and have a little fun. She wanted to make sure that she didn’t neglect them in any way. As you can see, Tiffany was family-oriented; never omitting her family out of any event. Her events were filled with complete love, joy, fun and happiness.
Tiffany worked at Quintiles Transnational Pharmaceutical for many years before moving to Syneos Health where she worked from home. She was so dedicated to her job that she worked at every chemo treatment until her last week. Her experience in the pharmaceutical industry led her to become a Senior Auditor. She was offered many other opportunities by other great companies, but because of her love for Syneos Health and the great management team, she was adamant about remaining a the company that she loved so dearly.
